Encouraging us to see the light in every situation
A light bulb moment...
In 2016 Doug had an idea to convey a message in Neon – a light bulb moment you might say. One simple word, in an urban environment, a very large bright graphic. Something that could not be missed; for everyone to see but with a personal message for one recipient. He believes this idea was a response to spending two weeks in Japan each year where the landscape is filled with huge neon signs at the top of the towering skyscrapers. What a powerful way to send a message, for everyone to see but actually intended for a recipient who will know it was meant for them. A very public, private message.

I love the pop art feel of these works. I have been completely captivated and totally inspired by these bright messages.
