Doug has recently returned from his tenth tour of Japan, where he caught up with old friends and made hundreds of new ones. He travelled around the country’s art destinations accompanied by his long time travelling companion, translator and guide Kikue. Doug says:
“I have been all over Japan and found that one thing that is consistent is the people. You could not visit a friendlier nation; everyone is incredibly welcoming and friendly.” The positive vibe goes both ways, and Doug was once overwhelmed by enthusiastic crowds everywhere he went and enjoyed a series of sell out shows across the country. His work has again proved that it can speak any language. Arigatou gozaimasu – thank you Japan!
