I paint every picture for myself, my family, our friends and our home. Yet to my surprise, when I talk to people in galleries and tell them the stories behind a particular work we always seem to make a connection. Many times I have found myself talking to someone who has had the same experience as me, or who shares the same hopes and dreams for their family's future as I do. I believe that my paintings unite me with my audience, and that although the images may say different things to all of us, they always convey a positive message of universal optimism and hope. This is why when you click on some of the images in the art gallery you will find the back story of why this particular piece was created, or perhaps just a line about what I was hoping to convey.
